Muslim Aid is a non-political and non-sectarian international aid agency, inspired by Islamic values, to serve the most needy abroad irrespective of religion, race, ethnicity, nationality or political creed. Beneficiaries of whom Muslim Aid take special interest are the orphaned, refugees and internally displaced people, communities caught in cycles of poverty, and survivors of disasters.

- Muslim Aid Asia was one of the first aid agencies to ship emergency rations, clothing and medicines to the victims of the recent tsunami in Acheh and Phuket. - MAA HAS been organizing Qurban for over 18 years for distribution as food aid to the world's most needy. - Muslim Aid Asia is currently implementing FoodAid programmes in Indonesia, China, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq and Lebanon. - Currently Health & Medical assistance is carried out in: Palestine, Somalia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Kenya, Sudan and Lebanon - In order to combat water shortages and reduce associated diseases MAA embarked on a provision of clean water by constructing water wells and water storage tanks. In the past year and a half over 250 water wells have been constructed while close to fifty water-storage tanks have been built in remote villages. - Educational programmes are implemented in: Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Afghanistan.
